§ X — The screens

The plates are not
struck yet.

There are no screenshots on this sheet, because the honest ones do not exist yet. Here is what the app will show instead, in words.

A pre-launch page can show a screen or it can show the truth. Dressing an earlier build in the language of the current program and calling it a preview is how a screenshot starts making promises the app has not agreed to, so this sheet describes the surface plainly and the plates go up when they are the real thing.

What is on the screen

  • One task. Not a list with one row highlighted — one task, with the rest put away until it is done.
  • A way in for the pile that asks nothing of you but the words: no project, no tag, no deadline field.
  • The triage itself: a short series of small questions, one item at a time.
  • A way to pass on the task you were handed, which costs nothing and brings the next one.
  • Everything you dumped, still held on the device, in the order the triage put it.

What is deliberately absent

No backlog screen. No project tree, no nested sub-tasks, no tag manager, no archive to maintain. No streak, no badge, no confetti, and no chart of the days you managed it. No notification engineered to bring you back for our sake, and no feed or leaderboard putting your pile in front of anybody else.

The screen that shows you everything is the thing that was hurting. It is not hidden behind a setting here; it is not built.

Where it stands

Not yet released, and not yet priced: the figure is published on the program page before launch and before anything can be bought. Enter the register and we write once when it ships — or read how it works first.
